Multi-Skilled Engineering Apprenticeship at C&K Meats - Eye, near Diss (September 2026 Start)
Are you ready to embark on an exciting career in Engineering within the food industry?
You must have a strong passion for the engineering field and the food production sector.
A willingness to dedicate yourself to a rigorous 4-year apprenticeship filled with learning and hands-on experience.
You should be at least 18 years old by 1st September 2026.
This comprehensive four-year apprenticeship will enable you to achieve the Food and Drink Multi-skilled Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship Level 3. The program includes:
OAL Level 3 Diploma in Food and Drink Engineering Maintenance.
Residential engineering training with 20 weeks in the first year, 14 weeks in the second year, and 6 weeks in the third year, followed by a year of consolidating your knowledge and preparing for the End Point Assessment.
Access to cutting-edge technology in a dedicated training facility equipped with the latest machinery and process control systems.
Opportunity to further your education to a higher level, such as HNC or a degree upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
What can you expect after completing the apprenticeship?
Upon successful completion, our apprentices typically transition into the shift engineering teams.
As a member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the performance of all plant and equipment, ensuring maximum machine availability. You will engage in both planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs to minimize production disruptions while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, thereby fostering a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
