Salary: Up to £70,000

At C&K Meats, we are seeking a Finance Controller to significantly impact our Livestock Division. This role is designed for an individual capable of stabilizing, modernizing, and leading the entire finance lifecycle, while establishing themselves as a trusted partner to both finance and operational leaders.

The Role
As the Finance Controller, you will oversee the local management accounting functions, managing everything from daily performance reports to month-end closures, while spearheading improvements in forecasting, governance, and financial insights.
Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with the Livestock Finance Controller and partner with operations, supply chain, and site leadership to ensure finance is not only reflecting past performance but actively influencing future outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end reporting lifecycle from Daily P&L to Weekly Accounts and Month-End
Enhance reporting speed, accuracy, and readiness for decision-making
Lead forecasting processes, including tracking risks and opportunities
Fortify financial governance, controls, and audit preparedness
Transform data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
Standardize management information, reporting standards, and review processes
Guide and nurture the local Management Accounting team
Collaborate with operations to enhance margin, yield, waste, labor efficiency, and cost recovery
Assist the Finance Director in evolving the broader function and structure
Instill a culture of ownership, pace, and accountability
