You will collaborate closely with engineers and suppliers to ensure timely availability of parts, maintain cost control, and keep systems updated and accurate.Your contributions will also include budget monitoring, reporting, and ensuring compliance, all aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the engineering team.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all engineering stock control and purchasing functions.Prepare and process purchase orders with precision and ensure punctual delivery.Act as the main liaison for suppliers and vendors.Maintain and manage engineering stock systems and databases.Monitor stock levels and collaborate with engineers to establish reorder points and thresholds.Oversee and manage the Pirana system.Assist in engineering budget tracking, including weekly reports on forecast vs. actual expenditure.Manage maintenance contracts and external service payments.Support audits, compliance checks, and documentation processes.Proactively resolve issues and ensure timely follow-ups.Ensure all purchasing activities are cost-effective and beneficial for the business.What We Are Looking For:Proven experience in stock control, purchasing, or administrative roles, preferably in manufacturing or engineering.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.Strong communication skills, comfortable interacting with suppliers and internal teams.Proficient in IT, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel skills are essential).Familiarity with stock management or engineering systems (EMS) is a plus.
