Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and analytical MRP Planner who will oversee material requirements planning for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods production. This vital role involves translating demand forecasts into precise supply requirements, ensuring the availability of materials to support our production schedules while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing supply risks. As we expand globally, the MRP Planner will strengthen our planning governance and enhance ERP utilization. You will collaborate with various teams, including Global Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance, to enhance service levels, improve working capital performance, and increase operational agility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute MRP cycles within the ERP system to generate purchase and production requirements.
- Translate demand plans into material supply requirements across all SKUs and BOM levels.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging components to meet production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels, safety stocks, reorder points, and lead times.
- Identify risks related to material shortages, excess inventory, and obsolescence, and propose effective mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with Procurement to align on supplier capacity, minimum order quantities (MOQ), and lead times.
- Provide support to the Supply Planner with production planning inputs and visibility of constraints.
- Maintain accurate data within the ERP system, including BOMs, lead times, planning parameters, MOQ, and safety stock levels.
- Engage in S&OP / S&OE processes, providing insights into material risk and capacity.
- Assist in new product development launches.
