Role Overview: We are on the lookout for a visionary Social Art Director to spearhead the creative and visual strategy of our brand across all social media platforms. This position is ideal for an individual with a keen aesthetic sense, a profound understanding of beauty and cultural narratives, and a fervor for storytelling in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. You will be instrumental in defining our brand’s visual presence online, ensuring it is consistently engaging and resonates with our global audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creative direction and visual identity for all social media channels.
- Establish and uphold the visual language of the brand, ensuring alignment with overall identity.
- Craft innovative, social-first creative concepts and campaigns.
- Translate brand guidelines into striking visual content tailored for various social media audiences.
- Oversee photography, video, motion graphics, typography, and design across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Stay at the forefront of platform trends and innovations, adapting creative strategies for maximum impact.
- Collaborate with Brand and Social teams to ensure visual storytelling aligns with business goals.
- Use social insights and cultural trends to generate creative opportunities that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Ensure all content is authentic, relevant, and aspirational for our beauty community.
- Experiment with new creative tools and formats to maintain a cutting-edge presence.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in art direction, with a strong portfolio showcasing social-first and campaign work (preferably in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle).
- Exceptional design sensibility, with proven skills in photography, video, and digital-first creative.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, cultural trends, and the digital content ecosystem.
- Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- A strong passion for beauty and culture, coupled with creative storytelling abilities.
