Join our client, a leading educational services company with a presence in six countries, as they expand their operations with a new branch in Knowledge Park, Dubai. We are seeking a Bookkeeper and Receptionist to provide essential support to our team in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills in English and have relevant experience in bookkeeping or accounting, ideally within a customer-centric industry.
Position Overview
This role encompasses both bookkeeping responsibilities and general administrative support for a small team in our Dubai office. Strong communication and organizational skills are crucial, as the successful candidate will need to grasp our business model and partner institutions, in addition to gaining insights into the education sector in English-speaking countries.
Required Experience and Skills
Technical Competencies: Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with QuickBooks are essential.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a bookkeeping or accounting role is required.
Personal Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English are vital. The role may involve direct client interaction, necessitating a strong understanding of customer service. Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess a keen attention to detail.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field is required.
Work Hours and Compensation
Standard working hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday, and 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturdays.
Salary: Up to AED 5,000 per month, based on qualifications and experience.
An immediate start is available.

Only candidates currently residing in Dubai will be considered.
Preference will be given to candidates holding a spouse's visa.
