Thorough pre-visit triage helps the team prepare for every appointment. What We’re Looking For Current Veterinary Technician License (RVT) in Colorado is required. At least 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician. Urgent care or emergency experience is a plus, not a must. Team-oriented and communicative, ready to collaborate and help where needed. Organized and proactive, able to keep up in a busy clinic with strong attention to detail. Compassionate with animals, patient with clients, and interested in growing professionally. Bonus: Interest or experience in dentistry or anesthesia. Key Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring, treatments, and diagnostics. Perform technical and lab tasks such as blood draws, IV catheter placement, and medication administration. Communicate care plans and at-home instructions to pet owners clearly and supportively. Keep accurate digital records, manage supplies, and maintain clean, sterilized equipment. Help foster a positive team culture and mentor veterinary assistants. Benefits and Compensation Hourly pay from $26 to $29, with 1.5x pay on recognized holidays. Full reimbursement for Colorado technician licensure and up to 10 hours of continuing education per year.
