Material Handler

This position supports printing and marketing operations by ensuring materials move efficiently and staging areas remain stocked for Machine Operators. Transport recyclable materials to assigned staging areas. Move finished materials to the next operational area. Stretch-wrap mailing skids after inkjet operations are finished. Keep mail supplies and staging areas organized. Arrange corrugated materials as needed. Assist other operators when necessary. Report consumable inventory needs. Maintain a clean work environment. Requirements High School diploma or GED. Material handling and forklift experience preferred. Comfort working as part of a team with accountability for quality. Ability to bend, kneel, reach, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed, and remain on feet for 8-10 hours per shift. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a collaborative approach. Currently, we are seeking a skilled Driver and Material Handler to become an essential part of our Shipping and Receiving Team.Under the guidance of the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the timely and courteous delivery and pickup of products and materials to and from clients and vendors. Additionally, you will handle the movement and staging of materials within Baesman facilities, ensuring that staging areas are well-stocked to minimize downtime for machine operators.Key Responsibilities:Safely deliver and pick up both finished and unfinished products from internal departments, clients, and vendors in a timely manner.Conduct daily inspections of delivery vehicles to identify defects and ensure safe operating conditions.Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of vehicles and material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers).Secure loads properly for safe transportation.Promptly inform the Logistics Manager of any delays due to breakdowns, adverse weather, traffic conditions, or other emergencies.Exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and a helpful attitude towards customers and vendor partners.Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.Prepare products for specific jobs and transport them to the appropriate machines.Move recyclable materials to the designated staging area.Organize mailing supplies and maintain the staging area.Report inventory needs and transactions within Baesman WMS.Ensure a clean work environment.Stretch wrap and transport skids of finished products as necessary.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
