As an INSPIRE Teacher Residency Fellow, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of students at KIPP Columbus. Your core responsibilities will encompass:
Instructional Responsiveness & Content Knowledge
- Design, internalize, and deliver engaging lesson plans that challenge all learners while utilizing provided curriculum resources.
- Analyze student data both individually and collaboratively with departmental teams to facilitate re-teaching and follow-up lessons.
- Create tailored learning plans for students and effectively communicate these plans to families during meetings and conferences.
- Collaborate with content and grade-level teams to foster an environment that prioritizes critical thinking and academic rigor.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and team collaborations.
- Welcome constructive feedback as a means of continuous improvement.
Care of Students & Classroom Culture
- Establish a classroom culture that empowers students, celebrates their identities, and cultivates a sense of belonging for everyone.
