Scheduling Details:
- Schedule based on course requirements and clinical specialty for each 8-week session
- Typically, clinical instructors work non-consecutive 12-hour shifts
- Note: Clinical dates are not guaranteed for every session
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical teaching aligned with the College's philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes.
- Manage all aspects of individual teaching responsibilities.
- Design clinical experiences and provide hands-on supervision and assessment of nursing students.
- Ensure availability for agency staff support.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Offer remediation as necessary.
- Stay updated on agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Create and post clinical assignments tailored to student competencies and learning needs.
- Timely correction and return of homework, quizzes, and clinical assignments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of programs and the College.
- May teach didactic content under the supervision of a course coordinator.
