Upon successful completion, apprentices earn Kia Service Technician certification. This program is GI Bill® approved, allowing eligible veterans to receive a Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) during the apprenticeship. VTAP provides training, tools, and resources to help apprentices build their skills as Kia technicians. Role Overview Automotive Technician Apprentices work closely with experienced technicians and service staff. The apprenticeship helps develop both technical knowledge and hands-on skills needed for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing Kia vehicles. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
