Team Overview:The Open Source Software Technology Program (OSTP) at Kitware is on the lookout for enthusiastic and driven recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. This unique opportunity allows participants to engage in groundbreaking open-source projects while pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science. The OSTP spans three years, during which participants will immerse themselves in various projects, gain a deep understanding of open-source methodologies, and cultivate essential technical leadership skills. Project Details:This program provides a platform for bachelor’s degree holders to acquire invaluable hands-on experience in open-source software development while receiving a competitive salary. OSTP participants will work on innovative software solutions that have a global influence in domains such as computer vision, scientific computing, data analytics, and medical computing. Participants are expected to work 32 hours each week at our Clifton Park, NY office during academic semesters and approximately 40 hours per week on-site during the summer months. Kitware offers extensive support with 100% reimbursement of educational expenses related to the Master’s program, including tuition, books, equipment, and fees, subject to our tuition reimbursement payback policies. Please note that this position is exclusively available at our Clifton Park, NY office. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
