About the Role:
As a Summer Intern at Formic, you will play an integral role in supporting robotics deployments and operational execution while gaining practical experience with real-world automation systems. You will engage with both technical and non-technical teams, aiding in coordination, documentation, and process enhancement while learning about the construction, testing, installation, and support of robotic systems in active manufacturing settings.
This internship is perfect for individuals who are well-organized, inquisitive, and eager to understand how a robotics company operates at scale.
In This Role, You Will:
- Facilitate coordination among internal teams, external vendors, and customers
- Assist in creating deployment documentation, checklists, and installation readiness reviews
- Participate in customer calls and internal meetings, taking clear notes and action items
- Help develop customer-facing materials, FAQs, and onboarding documentation
- Support tracking post-deployment issues and coordinating follow-ups
- Assist engineers and technicians with testing, setup, and validation of robotic systems
- Document edge cases, integration notes, and project progress
