Groupon is building out its AI-driven sales strategy and seeks an AI-Driven Growth Intelligence Associate to help shape the intelligence behind its next-generation sales efforts. This position can be based in Chicago (35 W. Wacker Dr.) or remote within the United States.
Role overview
This role focuses on Project Foundry, an initiative where AI agents work alongside human sales representatives. The main responsibility is to build and manage the intelligence layer that powers these agents. The position reports directly to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and involves designing and owning the architecture for lead scoring, routing logic, and pipeline forecasting.
Work centers on extracting and modeling data from sources such as consumer transactions, merchant health indicators, and conversion histories. The goal is to turn this data into actionable insights that guide daily sales activities. Unlike CRM configuration roles, this position emphasizes building systems and models that provide practical, predictive guidance to sales teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and own Groupon’s lead scoring and routing systems
- Develop forecasting models for the sales pipeline using proprietary data
- Build intelligence frameworks to inform AI agent decision-making in sales operations
- Extract, model, and operationalize data from sources such as Salesforce, focusing on value creation
- Ensure sales representatives receive prioritized, context-rich queues based on predictive intelligence
Impact
The intelligence systems developed in this role will form the foundation for both autonomous sales agents and human representatives. The aim is to transform raw lead data into a predictive system, ensuring each representative engages the right account, in the right order, with the right context.
