This pivotal role is essential for delivering precise and timely electrical estimates that align with our strategic business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Source competitive quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.Analyze and review drawings and tender documentation to formulate estimates.Utilize historical data on labor levels and productivity to accurately reflect labor costs.Manage the electrical pricing database and labor units effectively.Collaborate with procurement to maintain an updated directory of electrical suppliers and pricing.Engage with internal teams such as design and operations concerning specific tender requirements.Participate in pre and post-tender meetings as necessary.Deliver estimates to clients as required.What We Are Looking For:Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator or in a similar capacity.Experience in a Mechanical and Electrical contracting environment.Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.In-depth knowledge of electrical principles.Familiarity with estimating best practices and methodologies.A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all business levels.

This position will not only include project work but also offer the chance to act as a technical leader.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and mentor drafters/designers and junior engineers in creating various technical documents including single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, SCADA systems, and substation layouts.Conduct protective relay settings and coordination studies.Implement grounding design, load flow, harmonic studies, and voltage drop analysis using specialized software.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as AREMA standards and the National Electric Code (NFPA 70).Collaborate closely with other system disciplines to develop duct bank drawings and assist in CAD for BIM clash detection.Provide value engineering insights for traction power systems.Review and assess designs created by team members.Coordinate with various technical disciplines including communications, electrical, mechanical, civil, and structural engineering.Collaborate with Senior Traction Power Engineers.Maintain a focus on constructability throughout the design process.
