Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: 4+ years of accounting experience and a BA/BS in Accounting or a related field. Minimum Qualifications:Ability to evaluate processes, identify vulnerabilities, and assess controls. Proficiency in collaborating across organizational boundaries to analyze complex, interdependent processes and facilitate team sessions focused on process and control optimization. Exceptional interpersonal skills and comprehensive communication abilities for effective negotiation and influence in a matrix environment. Self-starter capable of managing projects, prioritizing tasks, and knowing when to escalate issues. Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. A positive, proactive attitude, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.

This integral position focuses on enhancing the infrastructure for data integrity that supports SEC and regulatory reporting throughout WBR. The incumbent will play a vital role in upholding internal controls over the financial reporting environment in line with corporate policies. A deep understanding of internal control documentation and evaluation techniques is essential for managing our control monitoring and reporting processes effectively.
The primary responsibilities include evaluating, recommending, and communicating best practices and procedures related to financial controls that ensure precise general ledger activity. The role also involves active participation with the WBR Financial Controls Group in compliance activities associated with the Sarbanes-Oxley program. This includes evaluating and updating documentation, monitoring testing efforts, managing remediation plans, and meeting critical timelines. As an internal accounting consultant, you will support business line goals and collaborate closely with various WBR line of business Group Controller teams and finance partners to implement effective financial control practices.
