The Challenge
Over 15 million adults in the United States struggle with severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar I disorder, and treatment-resistant depression. Unfortunately, the healthcare system has not developed the necessary tools to effectively address these issues.
This challenge is unique in healthcare—the required clinical protocols, measurement science, precision medicine, and technology for delivering coordinated, longitudinal outpatient care for this demographic simply do not exist. We are venturing into uncharted territory, employing innovative science and care delivery methods to tackle this problem.
We are committed to creating these essential systems. From care to science to technology, we are building it all.
About Us
Amae Health is a Series B, venture-backed Public Benefit Corporation focused on delivering specialized outpatient care to individuals living with severe mental illnesses. Our facilities address conditions like schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar I disorder, and treatment-resistant depression, offering high-acuity, in-person clinics across the United States.
Our innovative model merges psychiatry, therapy, primary care, nutrition, and community health support into a single, cohesive framework designed to provide comprehensive, ongoing care for a population that has historically faced fragmented treatment across various systems.
We partner with leading health systems such as NewYork-Presbyterian, Cedars-Sinai, Mass General Brigham, Novant Health, and CommonSpirit Health to extend this integrated care model to their communities.
