Position Overview The Java Web Services Developer will take the lead in designing and implementing reusable service interfaces across various projects. This role involves collaboration within and outside of the team to refine and enhance our bank service models. As a key contact for web service delivery, you will identify potential service candidates and document design recommendations clearly across enterprise projects. You will support a variety of projects using Agile methodologies. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop web services following a model-driven approach.Integrate technologies and manage enterprise service APIs (SOAP, REST).Utilize strong object-oriented and resource-based design principles.Create comprehensive end-user documentation, including design documents, service descriptions, use cases, and data definitions.Communicate effectively and lead cross-team collaborations for project delivery.Possess a robust understanding of banking products and financial industry acumen.Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with tools and APIs: Source control (SVN, Perforce), Eclipse/EMF, UML, XML parsing, XSD, JSON, SOAP, REST, and data mapping.Familiarity with service governance policies, service portfolio, and release management.Competence in architectural methods, application best practices, and the software development life cycle.Experience with process modeling, data modeling, business rules, and service taxonomies.Ability to prioritize and manage work across multiple projects while identifying risks and resolving issues.
