THE JOB As a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, responding to urgent veterinary situations where every moment is crucial. Your role will involve managing a variety of cases, from minor to critical emergencies, while collaborating closely with veterinarians to deliver exceptional, empathetic care. You will engage in triage, treatment, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, providing reassurance to pet owners during their most challenging times. This position is ideal for those who wish to apply their expertise, expand their skill set, and make a genuine difference in the lives of pets and their families. WHAT YOU’LL DO Treat every patient and client with the utmost respect and care, supporting them through every step of the process. Act quickly to provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support in urgent situations, from initial triage to discharge. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform procedures such as IVs and blood transfusions. Communicate effectively with the team and contribute to developing patient care plans. Be prepared to execute CPR as a certified RECOVER professional, and benefit from our extensive training programs.
