A weekly stipend of $250 will be provided to support your experience. Your Responsibilities: As an extern, you will encounter the diverse caseload typical of a small animal practice. Under the guidance of your mentor, you will be responsible for gathering patient histories, conducting physical exams, developing diagnostic and treatment plans, assisting in surgeries, managing medical cases, providing wellness care, and enhancing your client communication and technical skills while accurately documenting medical records (SOAPs) within the daily practice timeframe.
