Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Management:
- Oversee business performance at the location, ensuring alignment with company forecasts and annual targets.
- Analyze and enhance sales profitability while continuously elevating operational standards.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives, including promotional events and discount schemes.
Team Leadership:
- Provide clear guidance and briefings to team members.
- Deliver constructive feedback through structured performance reviews.
- Recruit top talent for the location to foster a high-performing team.
Client Engagement:
- Establish and nurture a strong, professional relationship with John Lewis.
- Facilitate effective communication and engagement with stakeholders at John Lewis.
- Regularly assess customer feedback and develop actionable plans based on insights.
Health & Safety, Food Safety, and ESG Compliance:
- Ensure the location achieves a minimum score of 90% on European Safety Bureau inspections and 5-star ratings on Environmental Health Officer visits.
- Guarantee compliance with statutory health, safety, food safety, and environmental legislation and company policies.
