Coordinate onboarding and annual FSQA training sessions. Assist with internal, CFIA, and third-party audits and inspections. Act as the main escalation contact and serve as back-up for the FSQA Manager as needed. Manage team schedules, participate in meetings, assist with complaint investigations, and handle other tasks as assigned by the FSQA Manager. Ensure compliance with OH&S acts and regulations. Use personal protective and safety equipment as required, and report workplace hazards. Perform other assigned duties as needed. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in food safety or quality assurance within the food or regulated industry. At least 1 year of supervisory experience is an asset. Post-secondary education in Biological, Chemical, or Food Sciences, or equivalent experience. Understanding of HACCP principles, Safe Food for Canadians Regulations, and GFSI schemes. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Comfortable using MS Office and Google Apps.
