Estimating:- Read and interpret specifications and various trade drawings to fully understand the electrical requirements for projects.- Develop itemized project costs through Construction Systems breakdowns using computer-generated counts and take-offs with tools like Accu-bid and Enterprise software.- Estimate the necessary equipment, human resources, project costs, and materials to ensure project completion.- Create detailed Bills of Material for supplier and subcontractor quotes based on specified project requirements.- Navigate client plan room websites to download updated bid documents as addendums or clarifications are posted.- Efficiently complete estimating tasks within tight timelines to meet client deadlines.- Annotate drawings and documents using Bluebeam Revu 2016 to provide detailed notes for the Architect/Engineer Team in RFI format and to inform Project Managers of estimating intentions.- Contribute to the development of electrical scope letters and other estimation-related tasks as needed.
