The Role:
As an interpreter, your job will involve listening to and comprehending content in the 'source' language, then accurately reproducing it in the 'target' language.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing interpretation services for individuals utilizing legal, health, and local government services
- Ensuring non-English speakers understand the content after each statement
- Engaging in conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Handling highly confidential information
- Acting as a liaison between service users and service providers
