The Role
We are seeking to expand our engineering team in Latin America to enhance the quality and reliability across Nexus's Layer 1 and its native DEX. As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain our automated testing infrastructure, ensuring the security, performance, and readiness of our trading, settlement, and blockchain systems.
You will work collaboratively with backend, protocol, and frontend engineers based in San Francisco while contributing remotely from Argentina, playing a crucial role in delivering high-quality financial infrastructure at scale.
What You’ll Do
Create and sustain automated test suites for backend services developed in Node.js and Rust
Develop integration and end-to-end tests that encompass trading flows, settlement logic, and on-chain verification
Design comprehensive test cases for APIs, data pipelines, and components of distributed systems
Assist in the implementation of CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and validate deployments
Craft performance and regression tests to guarantee reliability under high-load scenarios
Troubleshoot issues across services, replicate bugs, and coordinate with engineers for resolution
Contribute to enhancing test coverage, observability, and quality standards across our codebase.
What We’re Looking For
1–2 years of relevant experience in software testing or quality assurance
Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
