Role Overview The Site Reliability Engineer for Player Management joins a Product Development team spread across five locations. Focus Area: Player Account Management (PAM) This role centers on the Player Account Management area, which covers: Account creation, verification, updates, and closure Account authentication, controls, and security User session management Responsible gaming measures What You Will Do Incident & Problem Management: Investigate system incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions. Work to reduce incidents related to system changes. Observability & Metrics: Define and maintain SLAs, SLOs, and key success metrics for new projects. Build and update dashboards to support observability goals. Performance & Capacity: Spot and help resolve performance bottlenecks. Optimize both infrastructure and code for quick service delivery. Plan for future hardware or cloud resource needs. Availability & Change Management: Keep platform components available and reliable for users. Oversee deployments to ensure new code integrates smoothly without disrupting operations. Location This position is based in Budapest.

Manage and operate a Kubernetes-based platform.Daily management of clusters and nodes, including upgrades, patches, node cordon/drain, and scaling.Oversee persistent storage solutions (e.g., CSI/Longhorn) with basic capacity planning.Support reliability and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).Participate in the establishment and monitoring of Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and SLOs.Track error budgets, providing feedback on incidents and trends to the team.Engage in observability and incident management.Utilize and configure monitoring and logging systems (dashboards, alerts).Participate in on-call rotation: handle alerts and resolve incidents based on runbooks.Facilitate automation and manage runbooks.Support deployment and configuration automation (CI/CD, Git-based processes).Create and maintain runbooks and operational documentation.Collaborate across various organizational units.Work collaboratively with development, operations, and business stakeholders on a daily basis.Provide suggestions for improving processes and platform reliability.
