Members engage in dedicated training sessions with a specific squad and coach twice a week, fostering an atmosphere of consistency, camaraderie, and accountability. Alongside this, we provide an extensive array of additional classes, including Strength, Conditioning, Pilates, and Run Club programs, allowing members to tailor their fitness journey to meet their personal goals. Our community-oriented programs are designed to support and motivate members, resulting in an exceptional client retention rate of 97%, well above the industry average.
About the Role:
As a Coach at The Athletic Clubs, you are not just an instructor; you are a pivotal figure in the growth and satisfaction of our members. Your role involves delivering an unmatched coaching experience while fostering a positive culture aligned with our core values: Welcoming, Attentive, Consistent, Accountable, and Intentional. We are actively seeking coaches for various classes—Strength & Conditioning, Run Club, and Advanced Performance Squads—primarily at our Williamsburg location.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct AC Classes to meet our high standards
- Build strong relationships with AC members through engaging interactions
- Actively participate in squad WhatsApp discussions to stimulate organic conversations
Requirements
- A strong passion for The Athletic Clubs' vision, brand, and culture, with a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle
- Certified as a NASM CPT or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a coaching capacity within the health and fitness sector
- High emotional intelligence and a positive demeanor with a fervent dedication to community building
- Exceptional communication skills across various platforms
- A robust work ethic and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
Additional Qualifications:
- Physical capability to kneel, bend, reach, climb, stand for extended periods, and lift/carry at least 30 lbs
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
- Willingness to coach at the Williamsburg location
