Job Summary
We are in search of a highly experienced Lead Shader/Material Artist with extensive expertise in Unreal Engine 5. In this pivotal leadership role, you will set the benchmarks for material workflows, champion innovation in look development, and work collaboratively with artists, technical teams, and engineering to achieve stunning visuals while ensuring optimal performance. This role requires both artistic flair and technical problem-solving skills, including mastery of UE5's material editor, shader graph, Lumen, Nanite, and advanced rendering features.
In addition to leading our internal team, you will also mentor and collaborate with external co-development partners, ensuring their contributions align with our creative vision, technical standards, and production objectives. Please note that this position requires onsite presence at one of our studios for at least three days a week.
