We are on the lookout for a seasoned Energy Forecasting Analyst to collaborate within a focused team environment.The ideal candidate is highly numerate, possesses exceptional analytical skills, and has relevant experience in energy commodity trading, risk assessment, or pricing within a UK energy sector.(Our offices are conveniently located and easily accessible from the Bristol, Cardiff, and Gloucester areas.)Key Responsibilities:Enhance and refine existing price forecasting models, databases, and methodologies.Continuously monitor market and regulatory changes, including news and external consultant forecasts.Regularly maintain and review market data and input assumptions.Generate price forecasts and scenarios, offering expert insights for optimization, hedging, budgeting, and investment/business development strategies.Conduct analysis and prepare frequent reports evaluating forecasting accuracy and identifying sources of variance.Present findings to stakeholders, including senior management and investors.
