The main focus is to provide temporary cover for colleagues, manage residential caseloads, and support the business as needs arise. Part-time work is available, with a minimum commitment of 25 hours per week. Key responsibilities Take over and manage a range of residential conveyancing files from instruction through to closure when the main lawyer is away. Keep cases moving on schedule, ensuring deadlines for exchanges and completions are met. Maintain accurate records of all tasks and activities in the case management system. Build strong working relationships with the lawyers you support and provide thorough notes for smooth handovers. Communicate proactively with clients, partners, and other conveyancers to keep everyone updated on progress and changes. Ensure all transactions meet regulatory, legal, and internal compliance standards. Address complex legal issues that arise in property sales and purchases.
