As a Business Development Manager at keenfinity, you will spearhead the generation of demand and project leads through proactive business development strategies. Your role will involve early engagement with significant end-users, consultants, and influential groups within key sectors including Government, police, custodial, homeland security, and military. Collaborating closely with Sales District Managers and Business Development Application Design engineers, you will influence the specification and design of Bosch solutions across the Video Systems portfolio, maximizing conversion rates from opportunities to orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage business development initiatives targeting the Government sector, including local authorities across London Boroughs and the South East of England.
- Identify, pursue, and successfully convert project leads within the designated sectors.
- Engage in the tender specification process for major projects, steering the specification of Bosch solutions to enhance business prospects.
- Effectively present, negotiate, and follow up on technical and commercial solutions with clients and relevant stakeholders.
- Forge and nurture relationships with key influencers including end-users, consultants, architects, contractors, and government bodies, acting as a Key Influencer Manager.
- Maintain and track project opportunities and conversion metrics within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with SI account managers to transform project opportunities into quotes and orders via Bosch’s SI and DI partners.
- Organize and participate in key influencer events, trade shows, and government forums.
- Develop and update a network of contacts in the CRM database.
