About this Position:
This is a hybrid role based in Boston, with an expectation of working in the office three days a week.
Later is seeking a Payroll Manager (Contract) to spearhead precise, compliant, and scalable payroll operations across the United States and Canada. Reporting directly to the Controller and collaborating closely with Finance and People & Places, this position is responsible for the comprehensive payroll execution for over 400 employees across various jurisdictions, benefits programs, and third-party providers.
This hands-on leadership position is ideal for an individual who thrives in complex environments, exercises sound judgment in time-sensitive situations, and actively enhances systems and processes. While expertise in US payroll is essential, this role also offers the chance to deepen knowledge in Canadian payroll alongside a skilled Payroll Specialist.
