Our Aircraft Structures Internship offers a unique chance for transitioning service members to acquire valuable civilian experience during the final 180 days of their active-duty tenure. While participating in SkillBridge, individuals will continue to receive military compensation and benefits as they are still active-duty service members.During the Aircraft Structures Internship, participants will engage in a full-time commitment of up to 40 hours per week, receiving hands-on training from our skilled structures technicians in our FAA-certified Repair Station. Interns will develop skills in structural inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of aircraft according to FAA and manufacturer specifications. This program provides practical experience on various corporate aviation aircraft, including Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon, King Air, Cessna, Piper, and Pilatus, preparing interns for a future in the aviation industry.While this internship does not guarantee employment with Western Aircraft, successful interns will be evaluated upon completion and may be considered for full-time positions within our team.
