Project Manager – Civil / Water Infrastructure (On-Site | Boise, ID)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of essential civil and water infrastructure projects within a large-scale industrial construction program in Boise, Idaho. This role demands strong leadership across various domains, including engineering coordination, permitting, contractor oversight, and cost control, ensuring seamless field execution. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in managing water-related and site-civil deliverables such as Water Pillar scope, IW Pump House, RAW/NPW systems, permitting, stormwater pond construction, box culvert installation, and a significant creek relocation effort.
This position is highly visible and requires a proactive field presence, adept stakeholder management, and a proven track record of delivering regulated civil/water infrastructure packages safely, on time, and according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution
- Direct the planning and execution of assigned civil/water infrastructure scopes from design through to construction and project closeout.
- Act as the primary liaison for contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders regarding assigned project packages.
- Establish comprehensive work plans, sequencing strategies, and prioritize weekly tasks to align with program objectives.
Water Infrastructure Scope Ownership
- Manage the water pillar scope, including scope definition, constructability assessments, contractor alignment, and field execution oversight.
- Oversee IW Pump House coordination and construction, ensuring proper integration of civil/structural elements and utilities.
- Coordinate the RAW/NPW systems scope, tie-ins, and commissioning readiness.
Permitting & Regulatory Coordination
- Oversee permitting activities related to stormwater, culverts, and relocation work, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with environmental teams and jurisdictional authorities to maintain permit timelines and reporting obligations.
- Keep accurate records of permit documentation, inspections, and compliance tracking.
Stormwater & Drainage Construction
- Manage stormwater pond projects, including excavation, grading, and stabilization.
- Coordinate drainage infrastructure to prevent conflicts and rework.
Box Culvert & Creek Relocation
- Lead box culvert planning and installation, ensuring structural, hydraulic, and site integration requirements are met.
- Manage a 5-mile creek relocation effort, including all associated planning and execution.
