Role Overview: Technical Consultant II
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India; Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India
The Technical Consultant II role focuses on guiding customers through the implementation and adoption of Zuora products. This position calls for strong technical skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to solve problems in collaboration with both internal teams and enterprise clients. Technical Consultants work closely with solution architects, engineers, and stakeholders across regions, translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.
What You Will Do
- Work directly with Zuora Product Engineers to address customer needs and feedback
- Develop a deep understanding of Zuora products and the subscription business model
- Implement and manage data and object models
- Analyze process flows and architecture diagrams
- Engage with teams across different regions to expand project scope
- Customize and enhance existing product features and functionalities
- Offer guidance on business needs related to Zuora products, APIs, and integration best practices
- Create technical documentation, checklists, and runbooks for customer review and approval
- Advise on best practices for translating requirements into technical solutions
- Support customers during User Acceptance Testing and production deployments
- Ensure smooth handover of solutions to the support team for ongoing assistance
- Work with workflows, HTML templates, Data Migration, Zuora CPQ, Zuora 360, and Salesforce as opportunities arise
- Respond to functional and technical questions during regular customer calls
- Collaborate with experienced consultants to continue developing your own skills and knowledge
