Position Overview
We are on the lookout for dedicated and experienced Speech Therapists to become integral members of our multidisciplinary pediatric care team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assessing, diagnosing, and treating various speech, language, communication, and feeding challenges faced by children. You will collaborate closely with families and other professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
● Provide therapy consultations and sessions in home settings to support treatment objectives and promote child development.
● Perform thorough assessments utilizing standardized speech-language evaluation tools.
● Develop and execute personalized therapy plans focused on speech, language, communication, and oral-motor skills.
● Address a range of issues, including articulation difficulties, fluency disorders, language delays, and social communication variations.
● Collaborate with developmental pediatricians, occupational therapists, and behavioral therapists to provide integrated care.
● Educate parents about home-based strategies and regularly update them on their child's progress.
● Maintain comprehensive documentation of therapy sessions and patient updates in the clinic's electronic medical records.
● Assist in discussions regarding therapy packages and onboarding new parents.
Requirements
● A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology & Speech Therapy.
● Registration with the RCI or another relevant licensing authority.
● 2-5 years of pediatric experience is highly desirable.
● In-depth knowledge of childhood speech, language, and communication disorders.
● Strong interpersonal skills for engaging children and providing guidance to families.
● A team-oriented approach with a comprehensive care perspective.
