Role Overview: Senior Identity Solutions Specialist (Endpoint Security Expert)

This senior specialist joins Okta’s Global Presales team, focusing on endpoint and identity security. The role reports to the Manager in the Office of the Field CTO. The work involves engaging with customers, delivering product demonstrations, and guiding organizations on optimal use of Okta’s identity and access management platform.

Okta’s Global Presales group brings together Solutions Engineers, the Office of the Field CTO, Alliances, and Architects. The team combines technical expertise with business insight to advise customers and partners. Collaboration, empathy, and a focus on customer success drive their work as they help organizations address unique identity challenges and maximize the value of Okta’s platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Customer Engagement
- Lead discussions with technical leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs.
- Share insights on new trends, industry practices, and digital transformation driven by identity.
- Shape executive messaging and participate in conversations to connect Okta’s solutions with business goals.
- Develop perspectives that align Okta’s offerings with customer challenges.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions with security and infrastructure leaders, focusing on endpoint security, passwordless authentication, and identity threat vectors.
- Deliver tailored demonstrations and architectural sessions, highlighting Okta Device Access (such as Okta FastPass and Desktop MFA) and Identity Threat Protection features.
