Job Location: Bengaluru.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop products such as connectors, panels, enclosures, patch cords, wall plates, I/O cables, cable managers, and wall plate modules.Execute engineering tasks including engineering change management, customer drawing creation, migration of CAD data to PDM, legacy conversion from 2D to 3D, and creation of engineering and product specifications while ensuring proper control of engineering documents.Prepare project schedules and collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and product management teams to achieve objectives related to time, cost, and quality.Create Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) for design changes or new designs.Participate in engineering calls and provide updates on project status independently.Keep the cross-functional team informed about project status and update the relevant systems accordingly.Assist fellow engineers with designs, drawings, and preparation of engineering documents.Engage in Lean initiatives as assigned.Focus on continuous improvement across all areas.Ensure departmental compliance with all company policies and procedures.Provide support to all company focal points as required.Undertake any other projects or tasks assigned by management.Knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) is essential.Experience in risk mitigation strategies.Oversee project delegation, allocation, monitoring, and execution.Conduct quality checks on designs to identify errors and defects.Act as a problem solver.Coach, mentor, and develop team members.Hands-on experience with SharePoint and reporting tools (e.g., MS Excel) is required.Conduct technical training sessions for teams as necessary.Prepare and deliver presentations on project status, including monthly and annual reports to management.
