This is not a conventional maintenance role; it presents a unique opportunity to create and shape the future of our security infrastructure from the ground up. You will take the lead in establishing a robust security framework for our diverse business application ecosystem, ranging from Salesforce and Workday to specialized departmental tools. Your mission will be to transition from a fragmented and reactive approach to a unified, proactive, and fortified security strategy, ensuring alignment between business requirements and cloud-based software solutions through effective implementation, optimization, and vendor management.Transforming business application security into a fundamental strength will be your primary focus. Your responsibilities will include:Build from Scratch: Develop and implement a comprehensive business application security strategy in the absence of existing frameworks.Own the Ecosystem: Assume complete responsibility for the security posture of over 200 business applications (SaaS, cloud, and on-premise).Establish the Standard: Define security benchmarks for business applications and ensure compliance across all tools.Shift Left: Integrate security practices into procurement, integration, and lifecycle management processes.
