Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Technical degree required - MBA, Computer Science, and/or Engineering/Math background.10+ years of business development, sales, or startup/investor experience within the technology sector. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential, alongside strong leadership capabilities. Proven ability to work effectively with both internal and external organizations is crucial. Self-motivated, adaptable, diligent, decisive, and professional. Some foundational technical knowledge is advantageous, including familiarity with database systems, core distributed computing concepts, cloud computing fundamentals, virtualization, storage systems, and content delivery networks (CDNs), with the ability to articulate the application of various AWS services. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience and knowledge of the Venture Capital, Accelerators, and Incubators community. A passion for startups and a regular presence at key startup events will be highly regarded.

Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with key Venture Capitalists (VCs), Accelerators, and Startup Communities that have portfolio companies with infrastructure needs. You will take the lead on initial calls with startups to provide guidance on AWS and help nurture their growth on the platform.
You will implement the strategic startup business development plan, collaborating with key internal stakeholders, including business development teams, marketing, legal, solution architects, and support staff.
Additionally, you will coordinate AISPL-led startup events in collaboration with the Startup Marketing team and actively participate in relevant third-party startup events. Representing AISPL, you will also take advantage of speaking opportunities at significant startup events and platforms.
