About the Role:
We are in search of an experienced AWS Engineer to join our Bengaluru office. This role demands a proactive individual who will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our global cloud infrastructure, concentrating on automation, security, and performance optimization. The AWS Engineer will support existing AWS environments, facilitate cloud migrations, and work collaboratively with various teams across Caxton to ensure smooth operations.
The ideal candidate will be a crucial member of the Systems and Infrastructure team, driving operational efficiency, reliability, and security of our AWS architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud solutions leveraging AWS services.
- Oversee and optimize AWS infrastructure across diverse global environments.
- Select suitable AWS services to align with the firm's objectives and operational needs.
- Deploy and maintain services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.
- Support hybrid integrations between AWS and on-premises systems.
- Establish and enforce security policies and IAM roles to safeguard infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines and cloud tools.
- Contribute to incident response and performance troubleshooting efforts.
- Stay informed of the latest AWS developments, cloud technologies, and best practices.
- Ensure alignment of cloud solutions with company policies, technical requirements, and business goals.
