About the Role
We are on the lookout for a skilled and driven Admission Counsellor to excel in a fast-paced sales environment. In this role, you will guide candidates to make informed academic choices. Your responsibilities will encompass counseling prospective students, understanding their needs and aspirations, and providing support throughout the admissions process.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized academic and career guidance to prospective candidates, helping them understand their interests, strengths, and goals to suggest appropriate courses and programs. Address queries regarding course details, eligibility, admissions, fees, and scholarships.
- Engage with customers to inform them about program features, teaching methodology, and curriculum. Address questions related to course selection and career planning.
- Connect and counsel working professionals regarding their program choices.
- Develop a sales pipeline through cold calling and inbound inquiries, converting student inquiries into admissions.
- Close sales opportunities and consistently achieve monthly sales targets while maintaining detailed records of all counseling interactions in the CRM.
- Systematically coordinate for efficient application handling and communicate with the parents of student applicants.
- Follow up for enrollment confirmations and collaborate with the admissions team to meet enrollment goals.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive courses, and emerging career opportunities, providing feedback to the marketing and academic teams based on student interactions.
