Position Summary:
As the Business Operations Manager, you will be integral in enhancing and scaling our renewal processes to align with our ambitious growth objectives. You will lead a dynamic team of renewal operation professionals, ensuring effective coordination across Finance, Sales Ops, Product Ops, IT, and other cross-functional teams. This strategic role requires a blend of hands-on experience and a profound understanding of the SaaS business model and renewal process management. We seek an individual who thrives in ambiguity and can operate independently while fostering collaboration and managing stakeholder expectations.
What You Will Do
Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute a robust operational framework, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with Sales Ops and Finance on long-range planning, QRF submissions to leadership, and Renewal Capacity Planning.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis to uncover sales performance trends, opportunities, and challenges, using insights to optimize processes and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Provide strategic insights to sales planning, territory management, and coverage model strategies.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer feedback to continuously refine renewal strategies.
Renewal Sales Process Optimization:
- Streamline and standardize sales processes to enhance efficiency, reduce sales cycles, and boost overall sales effectiveness.
- Create and implement sales playbooks and methodologies to ensure consistency across the sales team.
- Offer operational guidance in Renewals forecasting and business reviews.
- Facilitate Forecast Calls with Renewal Managers and their teams.
- Collaborate with Renewal Managers and Senior Customer Success Managers to generate the CQ+1 Forecast Outlook by considering upside, downside, and risks to the RBOB.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Maintain Renewal KPIs and dashboards to track sales performance and measure progress towards targets.
- Utilize data and insights to drive process improvements, optimize business outcomes, manage project scope, and oversee ongoing operations.
