Role overview The Workers' Compensation Risk Manager leads the employer-side workers’ compensation claims program and sets direction for the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) department. This role builds risk strategies that link injury prevention with claims mitigation, supporting the company as it grows its staffing business. What you will do Create and roll out the workers’ compensation claims management framework, including selecting strategies and tools. Guide and align the EH&S department to ensure safety efforts have a direct impact on claims results. Handle daily management of workers’ compensation claims. Promote and support strategies for injury prevention and reducing claims. Supervise one direct report to start, with potential to expand the Risk team as the program develops. Work closely with the Global Risk and Compliance team and report to the Head of Risk and Compliance. Location and schedule This position is based onsite in Austin, TX (The Domain) or Houston, TX (near The Galleria), five days per week. There is an option to work from home on Thursdays.
