About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in Simulation Testing, you will be instrumental in designing, executing, and analyzing virtual test scenarios aimed at validating our autonomous driving software. Your role will involve close collaboration with development, analytics, and data labeling teams, preparing comprehensive checklists and test scenarios, and compiling precise testing datasets. Your keen analytical skills and proactive approach to continuous improvement will be vital for your success in this position.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute structured testing plans for new features and bug resolutions.
- Create comprehensive checklists and testing scenarios to ensure thorough evaluation.
- Collect and organize datasets for in-depth testing.
- Analyze test results and document defects with clarity.
- Generate detailed reports on test findings and safety metrics.
- Develop metrics for assessing autonomous vehicle performance and safety.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance test coverage and effectiveness.
What You'll Need
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- A proactive and inquisitive mindset focused on continuous improvement and deeper product comprehension.
- Excellent planning and prioritization skills, managing tasks effectively under varying workloads.
- Solid understanding of traffic regulations and driving rules.
Nice to Have
- Experience with autonomous vehicle testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics or sensor technologies (LiDAR, Radar, Cameras).
