Role Overview ConvenientMD seeks a Board-Certified Physician with experience in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care for its Augusta, Maine clinic. This physician will serve as a clinical leader, mentor, and supervising provider, working closely with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to maintain strong clinical standards and compliance. Key Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered care Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including patient history, physical exams, and medical decision-making. Diagnose and manage a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries typical in urgent care. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, EKGs, and laboratory studies. Perform in-office procedures including wound repair, incision and drainage, splinting, joint injections, and other urgent care interventions. Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans following current clinical guidelines. Ensure patients receive efficient, high-quality, and compassionate care.
