You will manage a large fleet of Ford service trucks (E and F series light-duty gasoline engines) and sales vehicles. Experience with Ford maintenance, general repairs, and Ford IDS is a plus. This is an hourly position!Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive preventative maintenance inspections.Perform essential maintenance tasks such as lubrication, fluid changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotations.Operate non-CDL vehicles (light-duty) for road tests and shuttle vehicles in and out of the garage.Utilize tools including bench grinders, torches, welders, oil pumps, power washers, brake lathes, and other necessary hand tools.Accurately document repairs and parts on work orders.Maintain tools and workspace in a clean and organized manner.Adhere to all safety regulations related to vehicle maintenance.Execute additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:At least 1 year of verifiable automotive mechanic experience, including preventative maintenance.Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds.Must possess a complete set of tools.High School diploma or GED is required.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Strong mechanical aptitude.Valid driver’s license with the ability to meet all requirements for operating commercial vehicles.
