The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in spearheading our commercial initiatives across new markets. This position is focused on executing strategic sales initiatives, enhancing market penetration, and uncovering new growth avenues for Optasia's state-of-the-art products and services. The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales leader with extensive market insight and a proven history of success.
Your Responsibilities
- Implement a comprehensive sales strategy for designated regions to achieve revenue growth and expand market presence.
- Identify and develop new opportunities and verticals for Optasia’s offerings, promoting adoption in various markets.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including telecommunications companies, mobile wallet operators, and financial institutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams in product, marketing, and operations to ensure the effective delivery of tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activities, and regulatory changes to refine strategy and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales performance reports to executive leadership, emphasizing significant milestones and areas for growth.
- Coordinate cross-departmentally to create necessary documentation such as presentations, business cases, and service descriptions.
What We Expect from You
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in sales and business development.
- Demonstrated success in surpassing sales targets and driving revenue growth within the fintech or telecommunications sectors.
- Ability to build and maintain a strong network within the banking, fintech, or telecommunications industries in the region.
- Fluency in French is an asset but not mandatory.
