As the Chief Accountant, you will take charge of our accounting team, ensuring the meticulous management of financial reporting processes and the integrity of financial data. In this pivotal position, you will oversee all financial operations, guaranteeing precise reporting and adherence to regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily activities within the accounting department, including general ledger management, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).
- Monitor organizational financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to aid in strategic planning.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national tax laws.
