Luminis Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist I for its Annapolis and Bowie, MD locations. This role focuses on performing radiographic procedures that meet established safety and quality standards, while adapting to the needs of each patient.
Main Responsibilities
- Process radiographic films, checking that all demographic and technical details are accurate and images meet quality standards.
- Carry out procedures within set timeframes, ensuring all required information appears correctly on images and related documentation.
- Monitor patient conditions throughout procedures, provide first aid when needed, and support physicians during emergencies or adverse reactions.
- Follow all radiation safety protocols for patient protection and attend required radiation safety training.
- Work with management to suggest improvements, report concerns, and offer feedback to strengthen patient care and technical quality.
- Keep track of supplies in the work area and notify management of shortages.
- Restock supplies each shift and manage expiration dates for time-sensitive items.
- Help with the clinical education of students on rotation and assist in orienting new staff as needed.
- Complete other assigned duties, including billing and quality assurance activities.
- Maintain current licensure and CME, and participate in required educational activities according to regulations.
